Vilac's natural wooden sailboats with cotton/canvas sails are lots of fun for little sailors! The sail boat can carry a light weight object, teaching children about balance and about the relationship between added weight and floating objects. The boats should be removed from the water and dried between uses. (To prolong the life of the boat, you may wish to rub the natural wood with a bit of vegetable oil or other child-safe, food-grade oil on the unpainted section of the hull.) French toy company Vilac makes hardwood toys in classic, old-world style with contemporary colors and designs since 1911. Ages 3+. Made in France. Choose Red Sail, Blue Sail or Yellow Sail (below).
