It takes between 16 to 36 hours to make each completed doll, as a collaborative effort of the hands (and hearts) of 8 to 10 master craftspeople and artists in the Kathe Kruse studios in Germany. Lolle dolls are 21 inches tall and have a soft, huggable body that is stuffed with cotton wool. Lolle's soft little hands have stitched fingers and a thumb. The Lolle dolls have long kanekalon hair, which is the same hair material used for human wigs. Lolle's hair is soft, shiny, easy to brush and lots of fun to style! Lolle dolls have beautiful hand-painted faces, with a charming twinkle and cheerful, friendly expression that is still simple enough so that children can imagine and create Lolle's personality and feelings. The Lolle dolls are the perfect combination of a beautiful soft, handmade, cuddly doll, with a more detailed vinyl head and hand-painted face. Adorable! Little girls love them.
