Kathy Kruse Elea Mareike - Blonde Hair - 16.5" Such a lovely doll! She looks just like the kind of European dolls our grandmothers and great-grandmothers played with, but she isn't fragile so children can really play with her and bring her anywhere! The Kathe Kruse Elea dolls were modeled after one of Käthe Kruse’s great-grandchildren. The hand knotted kanekalon hair is fun to style and easy to maintain. The Elea doll faces are hand-painted in the traditional Käthe Kruse style (the eyes seem to sparkle and come alive), and their bright eyes look happily into the world. Elea has a soft cloth body; her swiveling arms, legs and the head are made from high-quality vinyl. Elea can sit, stand and play. Cheerful Mareike has pretty blue eyes and blonde hair, and is wearing an adorable school girl outfit, with a charcoal grey/brown baby-whale corduroy pleated skirt and matching cap, nice thick, warm wool stripey socks, soft cotton knit vest with embroidery and heart patch appliqué, plaid blouse with leaf and flower prints, and little buckle shoes.
