Kathy Kruse Elea Francoise - 16.5" Elea Francoise is a lovely doll! She looks just like the kind of European dolls our grandmothers and great-grandmothers played with. Just looking at her makes us want to get back to Paris - or just anywhere in beautiful France - soon! (Ahh, the days of sunny blue skies in Aix-en-Provence!) Elea Francoise wears her long blonde hair loose and flowing over her shoulders, and her hair is fun to brush and style! We love Francoise's adorable red and white polka-dotted dress with pretty chiffon trim, a little navy blue vest and matching French beret, little striped socks, and cute little blue suede shoes. The Kathe Kruse Elea dolls were modeled after one of Käthe Kruse’s great-grandchildren. The hand knotted kanekalon hair is fun to style and easy to maintain. The Elea doll faces are hand-painted in the traditional Käthe Kruse style (the eyes seem to sparkle and come alive), and their bright eyes look happily into the world. Elea dolls have a soft cloth body; the swiveling arms, legs and the head are made from high-quality vinyl (certified nonyphenol-free and phtalate-free). Elea dolls can sit, stand and play.
