The toys in HABA's new "Pure Nature" toy series are made with organically grown cotton fabrics, utilizing controlled organic farming produces the highest quality cottons for both the threads and the outer materials. All of the HABA "Pure Nature" textiles are produced in accordance with Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS). The GOTS standards for organic textiles and materials ensures safety not just for children but also for the environment. The polyester filling has been tested under the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, certifiying that HABA's "Pure Nature" products are hygienic and washable. (HABA prefers polyester fillings because natural material fillings don't dry as quickly, and hence have a greater risk of mold.) All of the HABA "Pure Nature" products are tested by an independent CPSC accredited laboratory. HABA's safety and quality testing Germany go far beyond the required standards to ensure the highest possible quality.
