This large-scale heirloom castle center-piece is finely hand-crafted of hardwood and pine. (The Castle Gateway is made of Northern White Pine & Birch wood with a Linseed Oil Finish.) At 19 3/4 inches high, and 32 3/4 inches wide, the Castle Gateway is so generously sized that the children can actually get inside of the castle fortress, peer through the drawbridge doorway, and become a part of the castle play action as they move their castle figures around, within and without the Castle. Children (and adults!) will be enchanted by the working drawbridge, the watch towers, and the ledges at the tops of the towers and drawbridge, where little knights (boy knights and little lady knights!) can defend the castle.
